The new design, inspired by a golden ring, was unveiled to the public in Dubai on Sunday by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The new logo was projected onto the Burj Khalifa as crowds of people cheered on.
